
Ms. Amina Cooper
Amina Cooper is the Public Art Director for the Arts and Science Council, where she is responsible for managing public art planning and project management for the Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT). She is a member of the Public Art Network Advisory Council interested in expanding cultural equity, leading research, community outreach and fundraising planning for public art projects, especially in underserved communities. In her free time she moderates @blackmonuments, an instagram page dedicated to highlighting public artwork and architecture created by Black designers. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Howard University and a Master of Science degree in Arts Administration from Boston University.
