Robert Sweibel Arts & Culture Consulting is a New York City-based, boutique firm that specializes in strategic marketing, communications, and leadership.
Founder and President Robert Sweibel founded the firm in 2016 following 25 years of distinguished service across the arts industry. Working with a small cadre of associates, the firm excel in strategic revenue enhancement, brand development and activation, and executive leadership recruitment and training. Recognized as a strategic innovator, team builder, and income generator, the firm's clients seek it out for Robert's hands-on leadership. Recent clients include Playwrights Horizons, the McKnight Center for the Performing Arts, the Stratford Festival, Buffalo Philharmonic, McCarter Theatre Center, Rochester Philharmonic, Lookingglass Theate and Carnegie Hall.
Before launching the firm, Robert ran the marketing division of Broadway’s Roundabout Theatre Company, the nation’s largest nonprofit theatre, with five venues and a $50 million budget. Robert has also held senior positions with theater, dance, and music organizations across the United States.
Robert is a regular speaker at arts conferences, and has served on several boards of directors and multiple grant panels. An avid sailor and hiker, he lives in Manhattan.
