Patricia Nugent
Born in Detroit, Patricia Nugent has lived all over the Midwest and the South and couldn’t be happier to stay put in Cleveland. Her career began as an arts and entertainment reporter and columnist for one of Ohio’s largest newspapers. Then she served as Style Editor at American Salon Magazine and more recently Organic Spa Magazine. In 1991, along with American Salon Managing Editor Laura Briedis, she founded a public relations firm—NuBried Communicators—dedicated to promoting local businesses. As a passionate locavore in all things, Nugent has written features stories about “mom and pop” shops and ops for MIMI Magazine since 2011. A proud graduate of the University of South Carolina (go Gamecocks!), she is pleased to be putting her journalism degree to work.
