Ms. Lindsay So

Assistant Director
City of Philadelphia Office of Arts, Culture and the Creative Economy
Lindsay Tucker So is the Research & Policy Associate for the City of Philadelphia Office of Arts, Culture and the Creative Economy (OACCE). She is responsible for the OACCE's policy and research initiatives and programs that support and promote arts, culture and the creative industries as essential components of Philadelphia's economic and social fabric, and serves as the City contact for arts and culture organizations and creative businesses interacting with City agencies and the resource for City agencies engaging or looking to engage the arts in serving their goals. She also manages additional programs, including the City's Poet Laureate and Youth Poet Laureate positions, and Performances in Public Spaces, which funds artists and organizations presenting free performances that highlight Philadelphia's many civic spaces. Lindsay has a strong interest in the development of sector-wide organizational effectiveness and integrating arts and culture into the city's landscape. She is co-chair of the American for the Arts Emerging Leaders Council, and holds degrees in Art History and Arts Administration from New York University and Drexel University, respectively.
