Rena A. Cohen
Rena (she/her) is the Government Affairs and Education intern at Americans for the Arts for summer 2020. She supports the rest of the Government Affairs team in their efforts to research, propose, and publicize arts-related policies on a state and federal level. She also works as one of the Education interns for Strawbery Banke Museum, where she develops and leads interactive activities as part of their virtual history-based summer camps.
Currently a rising junior at Harvard University, Rena studies Women, Gender, and Sexuality with a minor in Statistics. She hopes to synthesize these two academic fields through a career in arts administration, developing programming and policies for cultural institutions in a way that is both data-driven and equitable. In her free time, she enjoys classical music, especially choral singing and opera.
