I am a visual artist, designer, and teaching artist, currently working in Philadelphia, PA and Seattle, WA. I graduated from the BFA program at Carnegie Mellon University with a concentration in Sculpture and a minor in Human-Computer Interaction in 2020. I work in a range of media including sculpture, printmaking, and collaborative public projects. Beginning in July of 2020, I have served as a teaching artist fellow in Philadelphia through ArtistYear, an AmeriCorps funded organization that places artists in Title I schools. In this role, I’ve focused on building relationships that foster trust and shared vision from administration, staff, and students; this has been foundational to developing a design program for 4th through 8th grade students and an arts integration models to teach STEAM and social-emotional learning. Beyond teaching, my recent design work has focused on creating alternative spaces for learning and convening, including a pop-up art gallery for a K-8 school in Jersey City as an Impact WrkShp Fellow, and a mobile installation and site-specific drawing workshop series.
