Lara Goetsch has been a TimeLine Theatre Company Member since 1998 and joined the staff as Director of Marketing and Communications in 2006. During her tenure on staff, TimeLine has more than tripled its annual earned income and quadrupled its subscription base, and in 2016, the company received the prestigious MacArthur Award for Creative and Effective Institutions. Lara previously was Director of Marketing and Public Relations at The Theatre School at DePaul University, where she worked for 13 seasons directing publicity, marketing strategy and special events for the Midwest's leading theatre training conservatory. She holds a bachelor's degree in Journalism from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University and has served as chair of the League of Chicago Theatres Marketing Committee. Lara has presented on arts marketing topics both locally and nationally for Chicago’s Arts Engagement Exchange and Americans for the Arts’ National Arts Marketing Project, among others.
