James Sims
James Sims is the Content Strategy Director at Center Theatre Group (Ahmanson Theatre, Mark Taper Forum and Kirk Douglas Theatre) in Los Angeles, managing a dedicated team of specialists in the creation of print, online and multimedia content aimed at building and maintaining constituents for all of CTG’s programs and departments, while exploring new and emerging methods of customer engagement. Originally from L.A., he spent five years working in NYC, where he relocated to attend Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism. In NYC, he worked for the Nederlander Organization, the American Museum of Natural History and Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, managing social media and digital content. Always focused on cultural arts, he also works as a featured theatre writer for The Hollywood Reporter, The Huffington Post and TheWrap.com.
