This past Tuesday was Election Day across the nation, and the  Americans for the Arts Action Fund has compiled a  Post-Election Impact on the Arts Report of this week's state and local elections, and what impact they may have on the arts. With Election Day 2012 now less than one year away, the Arts Action Fund is officially kicking off ArtsVote2012.

The Arts Action Fund wants to educate all presidential and congressional candidates that an investment in the arts is:

  • an investment in the growth of our American economy
  • an investment in jobs that cannot be outsourced abroad
  • an investment in well-rounded education for our children, and
  • an investment in our national culture and heritage
